Using a dedicated bank account for each yacht, we handle the entire financial management of a yacht’s expenditures – working from an annual budget with monthly, quarterly and annual reports. In the technical and maintenance arena, the diverse backgrounds and practical experience of our staff provide a wealth of knowledge. We coordinate and supervise routine maintenance and refit work onboard yachts and deal with Classification Society, Flag State and other regulatory bodies. Fraser Yachts is committed to a certified safety and quality management system following commercial shipping industry standards, customised to yachting and to each specific yacht. For commercial yachts that operate under the International Maritime Organization (IMO) guidelines, our Safety & Quality Managers will aid in the development and implementation of measures onboard to comply with the international regulations.
A single phone call to the Global Response Center will result in appropriate resources being directed to whatever emergency is taking place. We will assist with all communications as necessary and will also coordinate the necessary activities of Flag State, Classification Society and insurance as well as analysis to ensure that necessary lessons learned are passed on to the rest of the fleet.
Yacht chartering is the practice of renting, or chartering, a sailboat or motor yacht and travelling to various coastal or island destinations.
